SKYLAB provides a versatile range of services for chemical, biological, physical analysis of & testing of various parameters using standard methods & modern instruments along with expert staff & expertise; enabling us to meet the needs of customers. SKYLAB conducts monitoring and analysis of various parameters as per relevant standards like National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Standard (NAAQMS), Environment Protect Act, Water Pollution Control act, Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB), Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Factories Act, OHSAS standards etc.

The SKYLAB is expertly providing following services:

Ambient Air Quality Monitoring – As per NAAQMS, MPCB, CPCB
Quality of ambient air at surrounding and/or in the premise customer is monitored. Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers at standard flow rates. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters like Particulate Matter (PM 10 / PM 2.5), Ammonia, Sulphur Dioxide, Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Ozone, Lead, Arsenic, Nickel, Benzene, Benzopyrene, Hydrocarbon etc. are generally monitored as per requirement of customer.

Stack emission Monitoring (Flue Gas, DG stack, Boiler, Process, Scrubber, Incinerator, Exhaust etc.)
Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers at standard flow rates. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters like Velocity, Gas Discharge, Total Particulate Matter, Ammonia, Sulphur Dioxide, Oxides of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Metals, Hydrocarbon etc. are generally monitored as per requirement of customer. Sampling port with ladder and platform is required at stack/ chimney for sampling.

Fugitive Emission monitoring
Fugitive emissions are emissions of gases or vapors due to leaks or unintended or irregular releases of gases due to industrial activities. Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters monitored are as per requirement of customer.

Vehicular Emission Monitoring
Vehicular emission is monitored for determining of pollutants emitted from vehicular engines.Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters monitored are as per requirement of customer.

Trace Metal Analysis in SPM / PSPM
Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters monitored like Lead, Arsenic, Nickel etc. are monitored as per requirement of customer.

Workplace Environmental Monitoring
Workplace air quality is monitored for emissions of gases or vapors due to various processes at workplace in the industrial activities.Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters monitored are as per requirement of customer.

Indoor Air Quality Monitoring
Indoor air quality is monitored in the offices, commercial premises etc. for various gaseous pollutants.Sampling is conducted at the customer site using necessary samplers. Samples are analyzed in the Laboratory using standard methods. Parameters like Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, VOCs, Total Dust, Carbon Monoxide etc.are generally monitored as per requirement of customer.

Water is analyzed for various purposes as per IS 10500 standards, CPCB standards, APHA standard, MPCB standard etc. Water can be analyzed for various purposes as below:

  • Ground Water (Wells, Bore wells etc.)

Soil is analyzed for determining nutritional content as well as pollutant contents etc. Various parameters like Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium, Organic Content, Moisture content, pH value, NPK value etc. are analyzed as per requirement of customers. Various parameters in details are as follows:

Sludge is type of solid waste generated during various industrial process, treatments like effluent treatment, sewage treatment etc. This sludge can be analyzed as per norms of MPCB, CPCB, Hazardous Waste Management Rules etc. Various types of Solid wastes are as follows:

Noise monitoring is conducted for analysis of noise as per various zones like residential, commercial, industrial, silent zone etc. This noise is compared with various standards like MPCB, CPCB, NAAQMS etc.

Various Meteorological parameters are monitored using automated weather station. Meteorological parameters are as follows:

  • Wind speed
  • Wind direction
  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Rainfall

Ventilation in the building premises is analyzed as per relevant standards like factories act etc. Parameters like number of air changes in the premises, air velocity etc. are monitored during ventilation survey.

Illumination in the customer premises is analyzed as per relevant standards like factories act etc. Illumination as Lux is monitored during Illumination monitoring.

Vibration monitoring is conducted for analysis of vibration levels and frequencies generated from the operation of mechanical instruments as well as vibrations generated during the construction projects like metro, rail, piling, tunnel boring machines etc. Parameters like velocity, displacement, acceleration etc. are analyzed during vibration monitoring.

Personal exposure is monitored for human exposure to the particular gas, pollutant etc. Exposure is monitored as per relevant standards like Factories act, OHSAS etc.
